Pro-Life Hero Indicted by Harris County Grand Jury
Briscoe’s friend David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress, the man behind the undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood selling aborted babies parts and aborted babies, has responded to the shocking grand jury indictment (copies of indictments available below) a Harris County grand jury delivered yesterday.
A Harris County, Texas grand jury has ignored the videos exposing Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, a Houston-based Planned Parenthood abortion clinic, for selling aborted baby body parts and has instead indicted the undercover journalist (along with Sandra Merritt) behind the expose’ videos.
In a statement to LifeNews David said:
The Center for Medical Progress uses the same undercover techniques that investigative journalists have used for decades in exercising our First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and of the press, and follows all applicable laws.”
We respect the processes of the Harris County District Attorney, and note that buying fetal tissue requires a seller as well. Planned Parenthood still cannot deny the admissions from their leadership about fetal organ sales captured on video for all the world to see.
I have spoken with David and can tell you that he is in high spirits and confident that the truth, his innocence, and the guilt of Planned Parenthood will come to light soon enough.
David Daleiden and Troy Newman (President of Operation Rescue and a Board Member of the Center for Medical Progress) are also currently in litigation in California. On January 14, 2016, Planned Parenthood filed a law suit against both of them in Federal District Court. The National Abortion Federation also filed a lawsuit against David and Troy last year.
Where does Briscoe Cain fit in? Briscoe is the Texas Legal Counsel for Operation Rescue, the key organization behind the creation of the Center for Medical Progress, whose President Troy Newman is also a board member and co-defendant with David Daleiden in the two lawsuits mentioned above.
