Briscoe Cain Announces Re-Election Campaign

County and Republican Party leaders join Cain’s Re-Election effort

(Deer Park, TX) Monday, Rep. Briscoe Cain announced his re-election campaign to the Texas House of Representatives from District 128. Cain was recently named the most conservative legislator in Texas by a Rice University study.

“I campaigned on a message of restoring conservative representation to our community and I’m proud to be recognized as the most conservative legislator,” stated Cain.  “It’s been a great privilege to represent District 128 and I look forward to personally going door-to-door to thank voters, and earn every Republican vote in the upcoming primary.”

13 Republican precinct chairmen in District 128 joined Cain by endorsing his re-election. Multiple chairmen were previous supporters of Cain’s previous primary opponent. Also supporting Cain’s campaign are District Clerk Chris Daniel, County Commissioner Jack Morman, and Constable Phil Sandlin. All three county officials previously supported Cain’s opponent in 2016.

“It’s an honor to have such strong community support in this campaign and to build a winning conservative team. I am very grateful for the support of these party and local leaders,” Cain added.
