Public Schools & Colleges

Crosby Independent School District:

  • Governor Greg Abbott has closed all schools for the rest of the academic year.
  • Crosby ISD has canceled all district activities (classes, extracurricular activities, and UIL activities).

Deer Park Independent School District:

  • Governor Greg Abbott has closed all schools for the rest of the academic year.
  • Deer Park ISD will offer free breakfast and lunch to children 18 years and under next week. Learn more by clicking here.

Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District:

  • Governor Greg Abbott has closed all schools for the rest of the academic year.
  • GCCISD will offer Grab and Go breakfast and lunch for all children (18 and under) on weekdays, starting Monday, March 16th, for lunch from 11AM-1PM.
  • Breakfast will be served, starting Tuesday, March 17th, weekdays from 8AM-9AM.
  • Adults can purchase breakfast for $2.50 and lunch for $2.85.

Huffman Independent School District:

  • Governor Greg Abbott has closed all schools for the rest of the academic year.
  • Grab-and-Go breakfast and lunches for children, ages 2-18, that will begin March 23rd. Grab-and-go breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:30 am and lunch from 11:00-1:00, Monday through Friday. These meals will be delivered curbside at the Huffman Elementary School’s Copeland campus (back of building).

La Porte Independent School District:

  • Governor Greg Abbott has closed all schools for the rest of the academic year.
  • La Porte ISD will offer to-go breakfast and lunch at no cost during the week of March 16 for all children who are 18 years and younger.
  • The packaged meals will be handed out drive-thru style near the gymnasium at James H. Baker Sixth Grade Campus. Patrons are asked to enter the campus from Underwood and proceed through the car lines, where they will receive their meals.

Pasadena Independent School District:

  • Governor Greg Abbott has closed all schools for the rest of the academic year.
  • Pasadena Independent School District will offer curbside grab-and-go free breakfast and lunch to all Pasadena ISD students. This will begin Tuesday, March 17, 2020 and continue on school days for the duration of our school district closure.
  • Parents may drive by any of our traditional High School campuses to pick up a meal for each child who is present in the vehicle. With the requirement to maintain a safe social distance, meals will be delivered to each vehicle, so parents are required to stay in your car.
