Representative Briscoe Cain Wins Republican Primary for House District 128

Deer Park, Texas — State Representative Briscoe Cain released the following statement after a resounding victory in the March 3rd Republican Primary Election for Texas House District 128.

“Voters in House District 128 sent a clear mandate on Tuesday when 80% voted to once again name me their Republican nominee. Voters want a conservative leader who will fight for them in Austin,” said Representative Briscoe Cain. “They want a representative who will work to lower their property taxes, protect their 2nd Amendment rights, and cut bureaucratic red tape. Voters in east Harris County want a fighter who will serve as their voice for effective, limited, and less burdensome government. I look forward to continuing to be the conservative State Representative our area can be proud of. The real champions of our victory belongs to the army of grassroots volunteers who addressed envelopes, knocked doors, made calls, delivered signs, and stood polls,” continued Cain.

Briscoe Cain has served as the State Representative for House District 128 since being elected in 2016. A co-founding member of the Texas Freedom Caucus, he has consistently been named the #1 most conservative legislator in the Texas House. Representative Cain currently serves as Chair of the Select Committee on Driver’s License Issuance & Renewal. A lifelong resident of Harris County, Briscoe and his wife Bergundi are parents to four – soon to be five – boys and are residents of Deer Park. The Cain Family attends Faith Family Church in Baytown.
