I recently joined with my fellow Texas Freedom Caucus members in sending a letter to Governor Greg Abbott encouraging him to take bold action to re-open Texas for business.
The COVID-19 Pandemic must be taken seriously and we must help those in our community who need it, but Texans also have to feed their families and pay their mortgage. We can defeat this virus without sending our community into years of recession. It is now time to responsibly open Texas back up for business.
